Mobi Fileshield is a utility application that secures a user’s files on a BlackBerry smartphone. By providing a valid log in PIN, the user can secure/unsecure any file available on the device. Once secured, the files can be accessed only in a readable format on the original BlackBerry and cannot be transferred to any other device.
Features include:
- File recovery that allows the user to retrieve a secured file from native file system application when accidentally renamed
- SMS containing PIN sent to registered mobile number when PIN is forgotten
- Option to update the user profile including changing registered mobile number, PIN, etc.
- Viewable list of secured files on the landing page of application under “File List” tab
- Red cross file icon indicating that a secured file is deleted/renamed by native file system of device
